The Food for Life Partnership and FPH conference
Venue: London
The Food for Life Partnership and the Faculty of Public Health are co-hosting a free one-day conference looking at how to sustain vital work on food culture in schools and communities in the transition to a new public health service.
The Food for Life Partnership, which is funded by the BIG Lottery until the end of 2011, has evidence of impact from five years of working with over 3,200 schools as the agent of change in their communities, getting young people and their families cooking and growing food and visiting farms, and securing a viable future for healthy school meals.
Come along and hear our evidence of impact and how we can support local public health outcomes relating to children's health, obesity and emotional health and well-being.
For more information and to reserve an invitation, please email Natasha Moseley, Food for Life Partnership Events Officer, or call or go to the Food for Life website.
