Redesigning Local Services: policy in practice
29 March 2012
Central Hall Westminster, London
The government has set out its plans for a radical transformation of how services are provided, to be achieved at the same time as making significant savings. This will see the decentralisation of services to the lowest appropriate level, the opening of public service delivery to a range of providers, moves to ensure fair access to services and greater accountability to users and taxpayers.
Public Service Events' second annual Redesigning Local Services conference aims to join the dots between government policy in the shape of the Open Public Services agenda and the work that is already being done across the public sector. Putting policy into practice, this is a must-attend event for anyone involved in public service delivery.
