Population Health - Methods and Challenges



The conference will have open streams to ensure the broadest possible coverage of relevant issues and themes. Topics include:

? Natural experiments and RCTs ofcomplex population level interventions
? New approaches to evidence synthesis
? Making best use of routine data
? Improving causal inference from observational studies
? Measuring and understanding behaviour
? Evaluating mediators of change
? Applying methods from other disciplines, e.g. engineering, actuarial science
? Economic evaluation in public health
? Knowledge translation/engaging policy makers
? Population screening programmes
? Reacting to health scares.
